How to test the quality of lithium-ion battery
1. The fastest test method is to test the internal resistance and the maximum discharge current. A good quality lithium-ion battery has a very small internal resistance and a large maximum discharge current. A multimeter with a range of 20A is used to directly short-circuit the two electrodes of a lithium-ion battery. Generally, the current should be around 10A or even higher, and it can be maintained for a period of time. A relatively stable battery is a good battery.
2. Look at the appearance. The fullness of appearance, such as the general 2000mAh lithium-ion battery, is relatively large. Fine workmanship or plump packaging.
3. Look at the hardness. The middle part of the lithium-ion battery can be pinched gently or moderately by hand, and the hardness is moderate, which proves that the lithium-ion battery belongs to a relatively high-quality battery.
4. Look at the weight. Remove the outer packaging and feel whether the weight of lithium-ion battery is relatively heavy. If it is heavy, it belongs to high-quality batteries.
5. If the two poles of the lithium-ion battery are not hot after continuous discharge for about 10 minutes, it proves that the battery protection plate system is perfect, and the quality of lithium-ion batteries with high-quality protection plates is generally better than that of ordinary lithium-ion batteries.
Lithium-ion battery has rapidly become a leader in the field of batteries because of its excellent performance since its appearance. However, with the gradual expansion of its application scope and the increasing volume energy density and capacity of a single battery, the safety of lithium-ion batteries has attracted more and more attention.
